    Hi all,

I am trying to query the shutter status of a panasonic projector. However I am not shure, if the projector acknowledges my command. I don’t get a timeout but the ACK row in the log window is only showing the command itself and not the response.

I guess I am missing something really simple..

Your driver does not read the Acknowledge. What driver are you using? Does it come with V-Control or did you write your own?

Hi Dierk, thanks for your fast reply. It came with V-Control but I added a lot of commands. Nevertheless I didnt’t do any modifications concerning the Acknowledge, until now.

This driver does not reed the Acknowledge. It only checks the Acknowledge length (Ack length: 2 ind device editor)

As an example how to do this you can load the Epson EMP 600 driver. Of course you have to change the command strings because they are different.

    Worked like a charm.

Actually I tried it like this yesterday but had a wrong ack-length-setting (they are different for the Shutter and the getShutter), so I got a timeout-error.

Here’s the driver with a getShutter function for our PT-D10000.

Thanks for sharing. I put it in the next release
