    Hello,
when i try to create a new channel (in this case a Watchout PC, TCP, Port 3040, IP 192.168.0.101,
Network is ok, ping is working) i get the message -1007. And nothing happens.
    Anyone knows, what this means?

    Thanks,

    Heiko

    Hello,

I think you try to add an existing channel name to the system. The Channel Name have to be different EVERY TIME you press ADD!

    OR

You have forgotten to add a channel name and leave the field empty. It’s the same 🙂

As Jonas described it, change the Channel Name or set one.

Jepp, you both are right, thats it, thank you.
But right now, i have another problem, and also a bug, i think?
All commands are working, i can build a task in the cuelist, works
perfect, then i a a keyboard press, in this case “p” and connect
it with my only task. When i mark the “Enable Keyboard” checkbox,
the warning message comes, but i can
t control the task. When i
disable the keyboard control, and set the checkbox again, the message
doesnt appeare anymore. So, in the end, i cant use keystrokes.

And in between, sometimes the software freezes, when i open an extra
window, like now “Options”. I cant switch anything, cant close the
windows and have to restart the software.
    Any idea?

The Enable Kyeboard events is a modal window. This means no other window can have the focus if it’s open.

I recommend to use the Playlist. The playlist also offers keyboard events

In V-Control Options you find a switch to make the playlist modal if you want.
